Quality / Warranty

 

We sell products that are designed by manufactures committed to quality, performance, and sustainability.  All products sold through Camp TrailZ come with a manufacturer’s warranty.  Customers seeking information about a product’s manufacturer’s warranty should contact the manufacturer.  Please be aware that manufacturers of the products we sell typically prefer that the customer contact them directly for warranty and guarantee matters. Information for manufacturer’s product warranty or guarantee can be found on the manufacture’s website.

 

Shipping and Delivery

 

Packages are generally shipped within 2 business days after receipt of payment and are shipped via delivery service you choose at checkout from available options for items purchased.  Some items may be shipped directly from our store, manufacturers or our distributors.  Items shipped from manufacturers or distributors rarely but may take up to 7 additional business days.

Shipping fees include handling and packing fees as well as postage costs with the exception of Canada destinations in which case there is a small handling fee added. Handling fees are fixed, whereas transport fees vary according to total weight of the shipment. We advise you to group your items in one order. We cannot group two distinct orders placed separately, and shipping fees will apply to each of them.  You are given options for your preferred shipping carriers during checkout; however, we reserve the right to ship your package(s) using the carrier which provides the best rate for comparable service according to shipping fees we have arranged with carriers.  Thus the carrier we use to ship with may or may not be the same carrier you choose in checkout.  Your package will be shipped at your own risk, but special care is taken to protect fragile objects.

Items are inspected for damage before they are shipped and boxes are amply sized and your items are well-protected to prevent damage during shipment.

We are committed to working towards a better environment.  We strive to maintain at least 90% recycled and or reusable materials in our shipments to our customers.

Care

We also trust you to take good care of the products you purchase and to use them responsibly.  PLEASE NOTE that when you receive your order we encourage you to try it on, load it up according to use specifications as applicable, get in your sleeping bag or set up your tent before removing tags and taking it outdoors. 

Returns and Refunds

In the unlikely event you need to return an item please contact our customer service by email and include your name, order number, date purchased and the reason for desiring to return your purchase.  Items must be approved by customer service for return before they will be accepted.  Returns and refunds are subject to the following:

·      Repackage items in original packaging, including all paperwork, parts and accessories.

·      Returned items require a 15% restocking fee which will be deducted from your refund.  Due to carrier restrictions we regret that we cannot and will not accept COD for return items.  Any purchase demonstrates an acceptance of these and all other of our terms and conditions. 

·      Refunds are honored up to 30 days from the date of purchase and for items that are in the same condition as they were received. Items may not be returned after 30 days.  We and the manufacture reserve the right to provide education, instruction and recommendations to help you get the best use of your purchase.

·      Prior to shipping, you will be refunded your full purchase price. Once items are shipped, refund amounts do not include shipping costs.  Refunds given after PayPal’s refund deadline will be subject to any appropriate PayPal processing fees which may reduce the final amount of refund you receive.  Refunds of purchases made through Camp TrailZ and CampTrailZ.com are provided through PayPal or the applicable resource for original purchase.

·      Camp TrailZ is not responsible for return shipping cost and you are encouraged to return products in acceptable conditions noted above using a traceable and insured method such as UPS, FedEx or U.S. Postal Service options that have traceability and delivery confirmation.  Carriers do not permit COD’s and so we are not able to accept return shipping in this manner.  Please provide a copy or your receipt and an explanation for your return. If we receive merchandise without receipt and a way to reach you, the product will be considered abandoned after 30 days and may be subjected to donation after 45 days.  Please make sure to ship your return in packaging appropriate for your carrier’s standard requirements.

Exchanges

Need to make an exchange?

·      Contact customer service via email with your order number and contact information, including: Name of purchaser, address and phone.

·      Place a new order.  Payment for a new order is required.

·      While you will be charged for shipping on the exchange item, refunds for first original on an exchange will be provided.

·      Ship the item for exchange back to us according to instructions you receive from customer service and the above for return shipping policy.  Camp TrailZ is not responsible for return shipping.

·      When we receive your return item, we will promptly process your refund according to terms noted herein and Pay Pal terms.  Item(s) must be must be new with tags attached to receive a refund.
